Rock-n-Gold Creations is now specializing in the precious metal recycling market. RGC’s goal with recycling jewelry is to make sure that the environment is preserved via safe refining processes. RGC is utilizing a new refining process that is 75% more environmentally safe than previous methods used by other jewelers & refiners. With this in mind, RGC’s customers have the opportunity to cash in on their jewelry without hurting the very place they live in.

          Channel 10 News of San Diego had an exclusive contest this year for all the types of businesses in the county. The event was called the Channel 10 "A-List" Awards, implying that only the top businesses can reside on this list. Every establishment must be nominated by a suitable person who presents their nominee to 10 News to be reviewed. If they feel that they are "A-List" material, the business is then placed on the list in contention to be #1 in their category. People from all around the county thoroughly review every business in each category and then vote on which one they believe is best suited for the award.
          Well, RGC had some tight competition in their category: Fashion Designer Jewelry, which had about fifteen other jewelers in it. After about two months of open ballots and competition, RGC ended up overcoming its competitors and were named #1 in Fashion Designer Jewelry. They received a short segment on the news that spoke about their business and work they specialize in. Overall, the award gave and is still giving RGC much deserved exposure to the people. RGC now has numerous new clients who have come in after the awards to see if RGC was really as good as they were projected to be.
          One customer recently had an engagement ring custom made at RGC and said that it was exactly like what he and Simon (the owner) designed - times two!
