The History of RGC The history of
Rock-n-Gold Creations stems from the dedication to the trade and the
passion to grow. Owner and founder Simon Mattar built upon a childhood of
art, engineering, and creativity by attending the Gemological Institute of
America. After graduating in the top three of his class in 1988 Simon began
to work as a professional jeweler. He first started at the Miramar Naval base
where he developed his skills and began to focus on custom jewelry. Then later Simon worked for a major San
Diego Jeweler. As the master jeweler
on staff Simon was able to practice and develop his unique design abilities. On Oct 5th,
1992, Simon established Rock-n-Gold Creations as a trade and manufacturing
shop in Throughout those
years of growth Simon continued to develop his designing skills. He continued
to expand upon his body of original design work and in 1999 made the
commitment to focus on designing for the individual. This decision was well
received with a long list of satisfied clients and their many referrals.
Yet again, RGC was on the fast track for growth. In 2001,
RGC moved to their current location on Today RGC
continues to be on the cutting edge of the design and manufacturing world of
quality handmade jewelry. Combining the latest in technology with the finest
in old school jewelry techniques RGC has created their "Cool as Ever
Creations.” These one of a kind
designs are more than just pieces of jewelry. "Cool as Ever
Creations” are art; "Cool as Ever Creations” are life. A
truly unique combination of masterful design skills combined with a theme or
story creates these timeless masterpieces a necessity of luxury. For example, Simon made an anniversary ring
for a customer that had custom cut diamonds symbolizing the original location
of the husband’s proposal! Rock-n-Gold

RGC's ultimate goal is to make sure that
